Irrigated Farm Competition 2006

The 2006 Irrigated Farm Competition was for broadacre irrigated cropping enterprises in the Murrumbidgee valley. The competition opened with a field day on May 9th and featured visits to the previous 2 winners properties along with presentations on a range of topics of interest to irrigation farmers.

Nominations opened for this year’s competition on May 1 and closed on June 9. Judging was held during the first week of July. The winners were announced at a gala dinner in Griffith on July 27. They were Tim and Sally Watson of Hillston. For more details see the news and information page.
